The Wisconsin Crop Improvement Association (WCIA) is always interested in reviewing applications for field inspectors for the summer inspection season.
The WCIA Field Inspector positions located throughout Wisconsin and are ideal for retired individuals with an agricultural background but also work well for folks from all walks of life, including teachers who may have some extra time during the summer months. WCIA Field Inspectors are required to walk entire seed production fields and work closely with both WCIA staff and Producers. Inspectors are paid an hourly wage plus mileage reimbursement.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact WCIA (Phone (800) 892-1341 or Email wcia@mailplus.wisc.edu). We are happy to answer any questions.
